When You Let Go, You Make Space For Something Better
Let it go, let it go…………., no don’t worry, I’m not going to start singing the song from Frozen, I’ll spare you the discomfort.
We’ve all been hurt at some stage. But why do we hold onto it? Why is it so difficult to let it go of the hurt and pain and move on?
For some, the feeling and certainty of what we know is better than an unknown future created by change.
For others who have a strong feminine core, subconsciously they attach information or an event to an emotion. Feminine energy is about collecting memories and when there is emotion tied to a memory, letting go of past events can be extremely difficult. A masculine core on the other hand, has no trouble letting go. It’s not that they don’t care, their just wired differently.
Past events can keep us imprisoned if we let them.
What is the cost of not letting go? If you can figure that out, you are half way there, and only when you make the decision to fully let go, can you move on and start to live a life full of joy and freedom.
Setbacks in life are inevitable, but when you have a strong enough reason and goal to drive you, you will overcome any obstacle that comes your way. You will stay focused and dedicated.
RECOGNIZE YOUR EMOTIONAL HABITS
Your habits are one of the challenging parts of letting go. Mentally identify your default habits when under stress and your emotions are strained.
Rarely do people realize when they are stuck in a negative emotional loop. They think it’s normal. The way they speak, the way they act, the way they view life.
By consciously monitoring your thoughts and actions, you can start to see areas of your life you can improve. Why settle for a life where allow our negative emotions to rule our lives.
Once recognised, change your thinking to something that benefits you instead of holding you back.
But it’s what you do with that hurt is more important than the hurt itself. Use your hurt as your driving force to bigger and greater things.
DAILY MIND CONDITIONING
Once you start conditioning your mind to a new positive way of thinking, can you really start to let go of the past.
Do you want weeds or flowers to grow in your mind?
Once you change your habits, life will start to happen like never before. You must though, station a guard at the door to your mind to keep the garbage out.
Remember, it’s the small things you do each day which lead to massive change.
- Feed yourself positive stories
- Associate with people who make you feel good
- Start small and build momentum
Monitor your thoughts for a week and let me know what you happens.
