We all want better, it’s in our DNA.

Regardless of whether your life is going well or not right now, there is always room for improvement.

  • Relationships
  • Fun
  • Just to name a few…

Many people are so caught up with the routines of daily life, they feel they want to, but don’t have time to work on improving anything, and the last person they have time to help on the list, is them. Everybody else seems to come first.

Some believe life is passing them by or already has done so, or they feel they live an existence void of any real significance.

Others feel severely restricted by the demands of their job, and the responsibility of supporting their family.

Some are consumed by continual stress and long for freedom and prosperity.

Others enjoy the life that comes with prosperity, only to find that it’s still not enough to give their lives true meaning.

Many people live their lives in an almost permanent state of discontent.

A large percentage of the population are just surviving and caught up in the daily living cycle. Some of already given up hope that there is a purpose for them, and others are blindly looking, still hoping to find it.

Surveys have shown, 80% of the population are unhappy with some aspect of their lives.

So how does one fix it?

In order to set and achieve long-lasting goals, a person has to become the best they can be in all aspects of their life before they start their project.

Yeah sure, you can work on your goal and yourself simultaneously, but it’s easier right at the start of the project to set up positive long-term habits. It’s no good someone setting a goal to build a business, only to find out sometime in the future, their family has left them, or their health is gone.

You’ve heard the stories about someone winning the lotto and soon after have nothing left. They’ve spent it all trough not being ready for the responsibility.

The above scenario is a great example of why you need to get prepared prior to your success. Build a mind-set of the person you wish to become before things get crazy.

Wanting to become a better person is a life-long goal and one of the most important ones you can ever have.

I’ll be straight up front, this is a challenge to you if you really want to improve something in your life. This is going to be hard and going to take commitment and change.

And, the sad fact is, at least 95% of people are not going to do it.

Some of the 95% will say, it sounds like hard work, so why not just stay the same?

It’s easier the way we are and we can just plod through life without really trying. We can get benefits and rely on other people to look after us. So what if we don’t set a good example for our kids, my parents never did for me. Yes, many people have already developed this defeatist attitude.

Yes sadly, these people do exist, and I already know that’s not you, or you wouldn’t have read this far.

Ask yourself, is it going to be harder than living through a life of discontent and to have the feeling of not being worthwhile?

Is it going to be harder than not giving your life its best shot? Not by a long shot.

If you know deep in your heart you won’t take this seriously or at least give it a good go, you might as well stop reading now.

The best way anyone can start to improve their lives is to continuously ask questions with “Am I …” at the start.

  • Am I courteous?
  • Am I speaking kind words?
  • Am I eating well?
  • Am I thinking positive thoughts?
  • Am I living in the moment?
  • Am I … a million other things

If you can’t honestly answer “yes I am”, then ask yourself, how can you improve, and then work on it.

Its that simple and day by day on a consistent basis, you and others will start to notice change.

Truthfully, some people won’t like it. They won’t like the new improved you as it will challenge them and their comfort zone. This is where you have to decide to move on to more like-minded people or stay with people who are happy the way they are.

Your life, your choice.

Sure you’re going to slip up from time to time, everyone does, just forgive yourself, and say you will do better next time.

Constantly ask this question throughout the day and your life will automatically improve.

How do I improve when I don’t know what to do first?

  1. Be grateful for every blessing that comes your way
  2. Plan your day for optimum efficiency
  3. Healthy food and exercise are key to starting your day off right
  4. Live in the moment, give your task at hand 100% without distraction
  5. Be kind to the people around you
  6. Always act with integrity
  7. Always do the right thing
